During the past month in Help Desk, we have introduced ourselves to the new members of the Help Desk, checked out CoSpaces, watched a documentary, called The Future of Work, talked about VR and AR, and started with drones. CoSpaces is a website that allows people to use block coding to create their own programs. In CoSpaces we created programs and also checked out other people's programs from around the world. CoSpaces is mainly used by kids who are just learning how to code. Next, we watched, The Future of Work, it talked about how automation is slowly removing jobs from truckers and many others. Next, we talked about VR and AR. We talked about CoSpaces's cube which allows AR from programs from the CoSpace website. We also talked about the vive and VR in general. We talked about how VR has come a long way in the past couple of years. Finally, we started using drones. First, we watched a drone safety video and looked at the presentation Dakota and I made for CSED week which was all about drones and drone safety. Next, we flew Tello and Parrot drones in the lower library for a couple of days. Thanks for reading this and I hope you have a great week.
